As project leader, Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT) welcomed partners, representatives from 8 countries in the Mediterranean area, for a working session that served to define responsibilities, review the general lines of the project and to approve the first operational documents.
The Alentejo Science and Technology Park (www.pact.pt) was born from the desire to position Alentejo as an innovation center of global reference, through the dynamization and promotion of synergies between the academic and business ecosystem. As key business promoter in the region, PACT will contribute to eWAsTER by using the current network of companies, business centres, and administration in order to promote new economic opportunities for companies through a new management of E&E and a valorisation of e-waste.
