13.10.2025 I Aradippou, Cyprus
As part of the international celebration of the #ErasmusDays 2025, the Municipality of Aradippou proudly hosted a special event dedicated to the theme “Environment and Human Dignity: Living with European Values.” The gathering took place at Alexander College and formed part of the global initiative highlighting the transformative power of the Erasmus+ programme.
Each year, #ErasmusDays bring together students, educators, professionals, and citizens from across the world to share experiences and showcase the impact of Erasmus+ projects. The 9th edition, held from 13–18 October 2025, once again underlined how the programme fosters education, inclusion, and sustainable development across Europe and beyond.
In this spirit, Aradippou Municipality organized a dedicated WEEE Behave activity, shining a spotlight on environmental responsibility and circular economy practices within the broader framework of the #EWAsTER project.
Representing the Municipality, Mrs. Effie Zikouli, EU Affairs Officer, presented the WEEE Behave pilot action, emphasizing how small, local initiatives can contribute to larger European sustainability goals. Her presentation explored the intersection between environmental stewardship and human dignity, reinforcing how European values guide communities toward greener, more resilient futures.
The event included interactive presentations, discussions, and workshops where participants exchanged ideas on sustainability, digital innovation, and civic engagement — key themes driving Erasmus+ cooperation projects today.
