The event took place at the World Trade Center Marseille Provence: WTCMP
The ISE community gathered in Marseille during the period 18 June 2024 – 19 June 2024 for the Shaping Sustainable Innovation in the Mediterranean event! This was an event organized by the Community4Innovation project of the Interreg Euro-MED Sustainable and Innovative Economy Mission.
EWAsTER project, as part of the ISE Mission, was represented by #PACT, the project leader.
The two days of interactive sessions and networking with like-minded people and organisations working for a more sustainable Mediterranean region gave also the opportunity for launching the ISE Community of Practice and the 1st edition of MED Innovation Day.
These initiatives aim to create a permanent community that encourages dialogue and coordination between the 14 thematic projects from 18 countries and many other associated partners with activities that can be identified as complementary in favor of innovative sustainable practices in the Mediterranean region.
During the sessions, participants had the invaluable opportunity to meet face-to-face, fostering links and discussions on joint initiatives in line with the objectives of the EU Green Deal at local and regional level. The enthusiasm and commitment of the community members was truly inspiring.
The activities on both days were in parallel with the EWWR 2023 Awards ceremony, the ACR+ 30th General Assembly, and the LIFE IP SMART WASTE Project closing seminar.
